Today, on the 23rd of September, I woke up early in the morning to get an early start for my first class of Biochemistry. It’ s been held off for 2 weeks because of public holidays on both Mondays. So, today was officially my first Biochemistry class.

During the class, it was hard at first because I haven’t touch anything regarding biology after finish matriculation at Selangor and that occurred last April. So, it’s been 5 months. However, it was great learning Biochemistry during the class. It helped me recollect some informations regarding water, micromolecules, macromolecules and so on. Basically, I have learned the basics of Biochemistry. Then, we were given task to write a self-reflection on Biochemistry. So, here it is.

Based on what I learned from Biochemistry, I have learned that with Biochemistry, we can create, develop and improve cure to prevent disease in medicine. Next, in nursing, Biochemistry helps us in biochemical tests such as blood test and liver function test. Finally, the most important part of Biochemistry is it helps us to understand more about ourselves such as how our body functions, how the cells in our body works, how enzymes works in our body and so on.

There are so many things I have learned from Biochemistry. The best part is this is just getting started. There will be so many things to explore and to learn in Biochemistry. That is all from me. Thank you.
